ADAMI Dialogue forum for TV professionals and Filmmakers held in Yerevan

The ADAMI Dialogue seminar in Yerevan the capital of Armenia focused on TV professionals and filmmakers. During the November 4-5, 2017 forum, participants pitched and received feedback on their in-development films related to cultural diversity from mentor-experts including documentary filmmakers Andrzej Klamt (Germany), Irene Langemann (Germany), Vitaly Mansky (Russia/Latvia); and from the journalistic side, from 25-year-veteran journalist Vladimir Vasak (Arte, France), Satik Seyranan (Armenia), and scriptwriter Kote Jandieri of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (Georgia).

 

Within the framework of the seminar, ADAMI invited the public to an open and free screening of RODNYE (CLOSE RELATIONS), a film by director and seminar mentor Vitaly Mansky, which through the director's travels throughout Ukraine shows how war artificially divided families.

At the forum closing, ADMAI nominated three exceptional projects from Armenia, Moldova, and Ukraine which took in the seminar, to take part in two international pitching events: the When East Meets West festival in Trieste, Italy (January 2018), and the East Doc Forum in Prague, Czech Republic (March 2018). ADAMI will cover the travel and participation expenses for the filmmakers if their projects participate in the pitching festivals.
