ADAMI Studio – Chisinau

The ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe is launching a Call for Applications for fiction and documentary film projects in editing stage, which deal with topics of cultural diversity, tolerance, integration, or peaceful coexistence, to participate in a two and a half day workshop in Chisinau, Moldova, May 26-28, 2019.

The workshop is to generate participant exchange and feedback, introduce different storytelling approaches and increase the appeal of the films to a wider, international audience. The workshop will take place in several editing rooms, where participants will receive tutoring from experienced filmmakers/editors and will also be working on each other’s edits.

The workshop is being organized in partnership with the International Documentary Film Festival CRONOGRAF. Aside from the work in the editing room, ADAMI Studio participants will be given the chance to attend screenings and networking events that the festival offers to its international guests.

All Moldovan production companies, TV stations or individual producers/filmmakers interested in participating with a project in production, may apply via the link below. The workshop will be open to the directors and the editors of the selected films.

Please note: Only feature length or medium length (longer than 10 min.) film projects in  editing / post production stage can participate.

Interested teams should include with their applications a synopsis and an excerpt of the film project they propose to work on during the workshop. Four to six projects will be selected for the two and a half day editing workshop, to be conducted by three international experts: Acclaimed filmmaker Irene Langemann (Germany), director/editor Radu Dumitru (Moldova) and film editor/war correspondent Mikhail Moskalenko (Ukraine).
