ADAMI Dialogue – Diversity in TV Serials Conference has Concluded in Cologne

 

The ADAMI Media Prize organized a conference for producers and editors of TV series from the Eastern Partnership Countries and the EU in Cologne, Germany from 21-23 October, 2021. The conference’s main focus was the discussion on the potential for series to have a positive impact on cultural diversity, and the possibilities to include diversity in the making of series among professionals involved in the field.

Among the participants were high ranking executives and directors from the public broadcasters and big production companies from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Moldova. The conference participants took part in the European Series Day activities at the Cologne Film Festival, where the ADAMI Media Prize also held a get together for international networking and exchange between professionals from Eastern and Western Europe.

On 22 and 23 October, conference participants presented their broadcasters and companies, as well as case studies highlighting series with cultural diversity content.

Jury members for the ADAMI Media Prize - Project Pitching competition, who met on 20 and 21 October, had the opportunity to network with Dialogue participants at the European Series Day event.
